My stay at Mont Gabriel was enjoyable, with a cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. but some aspects needed improvement. The location is perfect for outdoor activities like skiing and golfing. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, but I did encounter a few service hiccups that detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms
8.0
The room was rustic and cozy, providing just the comfort I needed. though it lacked some functional features like shelving in the shower.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, especially Manon at reception. but my experience was marred by a few off days in service, particularly at the bar where I waited too long for my order.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, being near multiple attractions. I loved being able to swim comfortably at night, surrounded by such beautiful scenery.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with various options like omelets and fresh fruits. but I found the service at dinner to be a bit disappointing due to unclear menus and long wait times.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers nice amenities, including a pool area that looked inviting. however, I did find a lack of information available about on-site services.

7.4/10

I recently spent two nights at Mont Gabriel with my girlfriend and another couple, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. The indoor and outdoor pools were a highlight, and my Himalayan salt ball massage was one of the best I've ever had. However, I did encounter some service issues, particularly with a barmaid named Jenna, and the restaurant experience could definitely improve.

Rooms
8.0
The room we had with the balcony was nice, featuring a comfortable king-size bed. However, it was on the smaller side.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly and polite, but I had a negative experience with one barmaid who was quite rude and seemed to overcharge us.
Location
8.0
The resort is beautifully secluded and close to stunning natural scenery, making it an ideal getaway spot. However, accessibility from the reception to our room was a bit confusing.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was really good and worth the price, but the dinner we had was overpriced for the quality. My friends weren't satisfied with their meals, which was disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
The indoor pool and jacuzzi were enjoyable, and the outdoor pool had a nice bar area. However, the sauna was small and not functioning well during our stay.

6.8/10

My stay at Mont Gabriel was a mix of ups and downs. The amenities like the pool and golf courses were fantastic, but the room was too small with a lack of privacy and insulation. While the location was beautiful, and the staff was friendly, noise issues significantly impacted my experience. Overall, it was decent but not quite what I expected. 😕

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but extremely small, with a bathroom that lacked privacy due to a frosted glass door. The paper-thin walls made it hard to relax, as I could hear conversations and even snoring from the next room.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were friendly but communication issues arose during check-in, especially regarding room availability. I felt dismissed during my concerns, which left a sour note.
Location
8.0
The resort's location is stunning, offering fantastic views and easy access to outdoor activities. It's only a short drive to the charming towns of Saint Sauveur and Saint Adele, perfect for dining and exploring.
Dining
5.0
Although the dining options looked great, I was disappointed by the breakfast buffet which felt overpriced for cold and undercooked food. The setting was nice, but the food could use improvement.
Facilities
7.0
Amenities like the pool and spa are well-maintained and offer a good range of activities, including sports and entertainment options. However, I felt the overall service direction could be more cohesive.

5.2/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Mont Gabriel. The location is ideal for skiing and has friendly staff, but the soundproofing in the hotel is seriously lacking. I was kept awake by music from multiple weddings into the early morning, and the beds were hard. While there were some positives, like the recently renovated rooms in the Marquise building, the overall experience left something to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
My room was small and the beds were extremely hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. However, I did notice that some areas seemed renovated and clean.
Service
8.0
The staff was amazing and friendly, really the standout of my stay. They even offered us free drinks, which was a nice touch.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect for skiing and very close to Saint Sauveur, which I appreciated for the outdoor activities.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast buffet mediocre for the price, and I ended up going to Tim Horton's instead. The lunch options by the pool were fried food, which didn't hit the spot for a full week stay.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seemed a bit rundown and short-staffed, impacting service levels. It felt like they could benefit from some upgrades and more attention to cleanliness.
